Holy crap! I said this out loud more than a couple times while watching the new trailer for Transformers: Dark Of The Moon. Looks fantastic. This is shaping up to be one hell of a summer movie season. Transformers 3 hits theaters July 1st. Crank up the volume and check out the trailer after the jump.
Yet another example of two great tastes that taste great together. Cowboys & Aliens is a big part of what is shaping up to be a spectacular summer movie season. This is most likely the last theatrical trailer for the film and if this doesn’t put butts in stadium seats, I don’t know what will. Directed by Jon Favreau and starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde, Cowboys & Aliens invades theaters on July 29th. Watch the trailer after the jump.
Beyond The Black Rainbow, directed by Panos Cosmatos, is playing the Tribeca Film Festival this week and it looks mind-bendingly beautiful. Hopefully this film will find wider distribution after film festival season and we’ll all get to experience this one in theaters. I’m dying to see this. Hit the jump for the trailer.
Here’s our first look at Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes, a prequel to the Planet Of The Apes series and it looks pretty great. The film stars James Franco, Brian Cox, and a diverse army of pissed off apes. Watch the trailer after the jump.
The first album I ever bought for myself was AC/DC’s Back In Black, but the second was Licensed To Ill by the Beastie Boys. Twenty-five years later and we’re revisiting what might be the greatest music video to ever hit heavy rotation on MTV. Fight For Your Right Revisited is a short film (or long video) that will accompany the release of Hot Sauce Commitee Part Two, the Beastie Boys’ eighth album, due May 3rd. Hit the jump for the red band trailer, starring Kenny Powers, Frodo Baggins and the Green Hornet.
This footage from Green Lantern premiered at WonderCon 2011 a couple of days ago and here it is all over the internets. Hit the jump for an extended look and try not to drool.
This here is the official trailer for the Undead Nightmare DLC for Red Dead Redemption by Rockstar Games. Besides zombified townfolk and outlaws, you also get to shoot a whole slew of undead critters. You even ride an undead horse. And I thought they smelled bad on the outside. Coming soon for Xbox 360 and PS3. Hit the jump for the trailer.
Did you see the opening to The Simpsons that Banksy storyboarded or were you watching Undercover Boss? It’s pretty great and you can check it out after the jump. Then go watch Exit Through The Gift Shop or Turk 182, why don’t ya?
Joel and Ethan Coen are two of the finest filmmakers working today, so it only makes sense for them to remake a beloved example of America’s mythologized history. The original True Grit, starring John Wayne and Kim Darby, is an American classic. Nearly every film the Coen Bros. make is an instant classic. This trailer looks great, as does Jeff Bridges as Rooster Cogburn. True Grit also stars Hailee Steinfeld, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin and premieres December 25th.
